A man who was a master of about a dozen of languages (Greek, Latin, English, Italian, Hebrew, Syriac, Arabic, Spanish, German..), the translator who had translated many books from German to English and vice-versa and in other languages, a scholar whose moral was "Prove all things, hold fast that which is good" a lesson given by his father.
Hahnemann studied medicine and received MD degree in 1779, and in 1781 took a village doctor's position, soon he realised that the medicine of his time did as much as harm as good, and give up his practice in 1784.
Discovery of Homoeopathy is very interesting and started from 1784 during traslation of "Cullen's Materia Medica" and officially an article published in a German language medical journal in 1796. Hahnemann proved more than 100 medicines upon himself and gave us a new rational mode treatment "Homoeopathy"
