The National Testing Agency Centre's one-point agency for conducting all entrance examinations will conduct First Tests from , for the .
This clears any speculations of the involvement of NTA this year.

The task of setting up the agency has been assigned to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur which has already begun work on hiring subject experts.

According to sources in the ministry, the agency will have people from the private sector as well including experts in particular subjects and IT experts to make sure that the tests are conducted , in a hassle-free manner.

Subject experts will create a question bank that will be used for the exam.
Creating a question bank, ideating and managing the online system are the key points that will be done by NTA.

After the formation of NTA , JEE will be conducted twice a year. No final decision appears to have been taken on frequency of so far.
So let's wait for some more time to get a clearer picture, before starting to ponder upon the possibility of (eligible for admissions in every next academic session) from December 2018 onwards.. 😊
A far fetched thought at this moment....

Still let me clarify in simple words :
The academic session for Medical/Dental courses will start Only Once a year (in July)
But your December Score should remain eligible to apply for the forthcoming session (in case you don't want to re-appear in May)

: Don't expect any kind of Normalisation when the different scores will be merged to create a common merit for admissions in that academic year
