Diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases and is the leading cause of death in India. Over last 2 decades more and more young people are being diagnosed with diabetes. There are over 50 different types of diabetes, and a detailed history is usually good enough to arrive at the exact diagnosis. Its very easy to control blood sugars for a few months or years, but if the diagnosis is not made properly, the drugs usually fail over a period. Exact diagnosis and proper selection of drugs is very crucial in the long term management of diabetes.
In addition we need to keep screening our patients regularly for various complications of diabetes. At Diabecity we monitor all our patients with such equipments and we do not charge any things extra for the same. There are a few special investigations like Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) which are available at nominal charges.
The diabetic patients often require special products like Glucose Monitors, Sugar Free Cookies, Biscuits, chocolates, diabetic footwear etc which are not easily available at all places. Such products are available for sale at our center.
