Finger deformities are of common occurrence after injury while playing in young adults. when there is break of the tendon extending the proximal joint of a finger its termed as Boutonniere deformity. These people face difficulty in recruitment for police and army jobs. Surgical correction of repair or reconstruction of ligament can give gratifying results. In this youth with deformity of little fingers correction was demanded for recruitment purpose. presented are results post correction and rehabilitation with near complete return of function and full correction of deformity.

Nerve injuries can give good results if meticulous coaptation is done. This patient had traumatic injury to radial nerve in mid august of 2023, presented to us at 2 months post injury, was seen somewhere else and was advised tendon transfers. We planned and executed end to end repair of the nerve after resection of scarred segment with elbow flexion. He visited today for some pain. He now has full recovery of the nerve with all motors of radial nerve working independently, this would not have been possible had the procedure of tendon transfers being done.

Removal of accessory thumb is not simple as it seems. The division of the joint have to be corrected, the collateral ligament has to be recreated, with distribution of tendons from the accessory thumb to original thumb.

Acute Nerve injuries can have excellent outcome if repaired and reconstructed in time. He is a case of acute injury treated just after injury. Look at the normal function attained by this young boy.

Bent Elbow (Cubitus Valgus), commonly occurs secondary to nonunion lateral condyle. Late presenting cases are difficult to treat with guarded prognosis. This child after trauma got operated with open reduction, still went into nonunion with gradual deformity. Presented 4 yrs after injury with this deformity and X Ray. Plan was to do insitu fixation with ulnar nerve transposition, In Surgery it was a Type III injury with complete instability, so open reduction with reconstruction of lateral epicondylar region was done, much of the trochlea is still not ossified. Were able to correct and restore anatomy. Hope things turn well for this child.
