Hospital Cornea Retrieval Programme
“Hospital based cornea retrieval programme (HCRP) refers to eye donation consented through proactive engagement with hospitals and donor families for eye donations. The HCRP focuses on hospitals to retrieve corneal tissues because of several inherent advantages, such as availability of potential donors, their medical history, and reduction of time interval between death and corneal excision. This model involves building strong relationships between donor hospitals and the eye bank. Professionally-trained eye donation counsellors approach family members with a request for eye donation after death of a patient who is admitted in the hospital. HCRP is more efficient, scalable and provides higher utilization rate for corneas recovered. For grieving families too HCRP is a more suited method as patients are screened by well-trained counsellors before the family is approached for donation and if a patient has a medical condition, because of which the cornea cannot be used, the family is left undisturbed in their moment of grief.

A ceremonial puja was performed at the Moti Doongri Ganesh Ji Temple on the inaugural day of the Eye Donation Fortnight, seeking blessings of Lord Ganesha.
The fortnight poster was launched.
A nukkad natak was done based on the Eye Donation theme.

दिनांक 7.8.2025 को दौसा चैप्टर के ग्राम पंचायत लाडली में आई चेकअप कैंप लगाया गया, जिसमें कुल 216 व्यक्तियों की आंखों की जांच कर उनको दवाई और चश्मे वितरण किए गए। इनकी मोतियाबिंद एवं कॉर्निया संबंधित परेशानियों के लिए भी जांच की गई।

प्रोत्साहन कार्यक्रम में नेत्रदानियों व देहदानियों का किया सम्मान

आई बैंक सोसायटी ऑफ राजस्थान, पाली चेप्टर की ओर से 12 जून को नेत्रदानी सम्मान समारोह आयोजित किया गया। देहदान का संकल्प करने वालों का भी मान बढ़ाया गया। समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि सहकारिता एवं नागरिक उड्ड्यन राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) श्री गौतम कुमार दक ने कहा कि पालीवालों के मन में अभूतपूर्व सेवा भाव है।
कार्यक्रम में पूर्व सभापति श्री महेन्द्र बोहरा, आई बैंक सोसायटी अध्यक्ष श्री हुक्मीचंद मेहता, सचिव श्री केवलचंद कवाड़ आदि की मौजूदगी में नेत्रदान, देहादान कर्ता, देहदान संकल्पकर्ताओं व संस्था में सहयोग करने वालों का भी बहुमान किया गया।
