◉ One Month Extensive Yoga Program - Basic Daily Schedule

- 4:30 am to 5:30 am - 1 hour One on One session where we work on the basics of Pranayam (breathing exercise), the nitty-gritty of postures that are most important for individual needs. It is a very progressive session, Week 1 will be very beginners postures while week 3 and week 4 will be intermediate and advanced postures depending on the availability of your body and mind.

- 5:45 to 7:00 am: 75 mins group class. The class size never exceeds 14 people. Each day of the week is different and covers the different aspect of yogic postures.

Monday - Focus is on warm up of entire body and some easy Hatha Postures

Tuesday - Focus is on Core building leading to advanced inverted postures like Headstand, Shoulder stand and deep backbends.

Wednesday - In the 1-month program, 4 Wednesdays will cover 4 important elements of
postures - Forward bends, Backbends, Spinal twists & Balancing Postures.

Thursday - Intermediate Ashtanga Vinyasa flow class. This is a bit intense class and might be
modified if need be.

Friday - Complete Sivananda Hatha Series ending with Yoga Nidra.

Saturday - Yin yoga/ Iyenger Yoga focus on ligaments and Tissues - Prop based.

Sunday - Complete Day OFF

- 7:15 to 8:30: 75 mins group class in which you will assist me and help the practitioners. The nature of the class is exactly the same what you practised from 5:45 to 7:00 am.

- 8:45 am: Freshly home cooked Vegetarian breakfast will be served.

- 9:00 am to 11:00 am - Rest time

- 11:00 am to 1:00 pm: You have an opportunity to volunteer at some of the schools across the city ( Schools for kids with special needs like Cerebral palsy, Autism). It can be explained in detail once you are here. Some of the projects and related pictures can be seen under the Photos section of this FB page.

- 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm: Your own time for cooking some lunch at the kitchenette provided to you / Some recommended reading of yoga books if you want to touch base the theory aspect of Yoga.

4:45 pm to 5:15 pm: Meditation in your own room. If you do not have any prior understanding of meditation, this session will start from week 2.

- 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm: 90 mins of an intense group class. This is not very different than morning group class except the class intensity is more at an intermediate/advanced level with some challenging postures.

- 7:15 PM: Freshly home cooked vegetarian dinner will be served.

- 8:00 pm to 9:15 pm: Final group meditation in the yoga studio where we discuss together and practice "What is meditation”.

Time to rest !!!

Apart from this weekly schedule, we will find one weekend during your stay to go out for excursions for a day or two depending on group size and climate conditions. These activities might include volunteering in nearby villages, trekking in North Indian hilly terrain, Jungle safari or night camping (Pics are one the YB photo section) !!!
