Ureterocele is a condition in which the urine passage opening is swollen. Because of this, urine cannot flow properly and the kidney starts swelling.

In this baby, the problem was noticed before birth. After birth, scans showed kidney swelling due to urine blockage.

At 8 months of age, Dr. Naresh Garg treated this problem using laser surgery. With the help of a small camera and laser, the blocked urine passage was opened safely. No big cut was needed.

The surgery was successful. Urine flow improved, kidney swelling resolved, and the baby is doing well.

👉 Early diagnosis and timely treatment can protect a baby’s kidneys.

Drinking enough water is one of the most important steps in kidney stone prevention.some of kidney stone patient is not aware which type of water and how much water intake to help kidney stone prevention.in this video Dr. Naresh Garg explain all the things.

Most kidney stone patients should aim to drink 3.5 to 4 liters of water every day, spread evenly throughout the day. Adequate hydration helps dilute urine and reduces the chances of stone formation.

Plain drinking water is the best choice. RO water is safe, but it should ideally be balanced with minerals. Hard water, sugary drinks, and excessive soft drinks should be avoided. Coconut water and lemon water (without sugar) can also support kidney health.

Clear or light-colored urine is a good sign that you are drinking enough water.

👉 Always consult a urologist for personalized advice based on your stone type.

Early Signs of Kidney Stones You Shouldn’t Ignore

Kidney stones usually don’t come overnight. In many cases, your body starts giving small signals — but we often brush them off until the pain becomes unbearable.

Some early signs you should pay attention to:
• Light pain or discomfort in the lower back or side
• Burning feeling while passing urine
• Going to the toilet more often than usual
• Urine that looks cloudy or smells unusual
• Feeling uneasy, nauseous, or uncomfortable without a clear reason

Finding kidney stones early really matters. When caught on time, treatment is usually simpler, less painful, and in many cases, surgery can be avoided.

👉 If your body feels off, don’t brush it aside.
📞 Seeing a urologist early can help you avoid severe pain later on.

Many patients ask whether seeds and vegetables should be avoided in kidney stones, or if beer can help remove stones. The truth is, seeds and vegetables do not cause kidney stones in most people and should not be avoided without medical advice. They are part of a balanced diet that supports overall kidney health.

Another common myth is that beer can dissolve or remove kidney stones. Beer does not break kidney stones and may actually increase the risk of dehydration, which can worsen stone formation. Relying on such myths often delays proper treatment.

Small kidney stones may pass naturally with adequate water intake, but larger stones require proper medical evaluation and treatment. Following unverified home remedies can lead to complications.

Stop following myths and start following medical facts. If you have kidney stone symptoms or repeated stone episodes, consult a urologist for the right diagnosis and treatment. Early care helps prevent recurrence.
