Children tend to put certain stuffs in their nose / ear which is called as Foreign body. Foreign body pose great threat to children as in ears can damage ear drum, in nose can cause bleeding / infection and if nasal foreign body slips down might enter in lungs airway damaging lung or even death. Foreign body in ear can lead to damage ear drum and other structure leading to deafness

This foreign body successfully removed from ear of 1.5 years old child in OPD setting only it is a wheat grain.
