An Humble Appeal 🙏🙏

Hello.
My father, Dr. Pawan Sureka, is a Pediatrician from Mumbai.

He is admitted in the ICU at KIMS hospital in Hyderabad. He is in URGENT NEED of a LUNG TRANSPLANT of O+ve blood group.

Family member of Person who is admitted in hospital and on ventilator support can be motivated to donate the lung.
The appropriate team can be arranged for the same.

Every organ donation can get us closer to getting the lungs for his transplant. Please consider motivating family if anyone could be a potential donor.

Please consider sending this request to your friends and colleagues - neuro surgeons and neurologists.

Especially in telangana, Andhra pradesh, karnataka, kerala, pondicherry.

इस वर्ष दीपावली का पर्व 31 अक्टूबर 2024 को मनाया जाएगा.

जयपुर के केंद्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय में अखिल भारतीय विद्वत परिषद द्वारा आयोजित धर्मसभा में सर्वसम्मति से यह फैसला लिया गया है.

प्रतिष्ठित विद्वानों, ज्योतिषाचार्यों और धर्मशास्त्राचार्यों ने ज्योतिषीय गणनाओं और शास्त्रीय परंपराओं का पूरा ध्यान रखते हुए तारीख का ऐलान किया है.

इस सभा में कार्तिक अमावस्या और लक्ष्मी पूजन के लिए 31 अक्टूबर को शास्त्रसम्मत माना गया है.

विद्वानों और ज्योतिषाचार्यों ने यह भी कहा कि 31 अक्टूबर को दीपावली मनाने को लेकर कोई विवाद नहीं है.

दृश्यपक्ष की गणना में भी 31 अक्टूबर को ही दीपावली सिद्ध होती है.

Sausage Tree

Kigelia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Bignoniaceae.

The genus consists of only one species, Kigelia africana, which occurs throughout tropical Africa.

The so-called sausage tree grows a poisonous fruit that is up to 60 cm long, weighs about 7 kg, and resembles a sausage in a casing.

The Indian River Tern

It is a resident breeder along inland rivers from Iran east into the Indian Subcontinent and further to Myanmar to Thailand, where it is uncommon.

The Pied Avocet
(Recurvirostra avosetta)

This is a large black and white wader in the avocet and stilt family, Recurvirostridae.

They breed in temperate Europe and across the Palearctic to Central Asia then on to the Russian Far East.

It is a migratory species and most winter in Africa or southern Asia. Some remain to winter in the mildest parts of their range, for example in southern Spain and southern England.

The pied avocet is one of the species to which the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA) applies.

The Wire-tailed Swallow
(Hirundo smithii)

This is a small passerine bird in the swallow family. It has two subspecies: H. s. smithii, which occurs throughout Africa, and H. s. filifera, which is found in southern and southeastern Asia.

It is mainly resident, but populations in Pakistan and northern India migrate further south in winter.

The genus name Hirundo is the Latin word for swallow.
