As a gynecologic oncologist, my primary focus has always been oncologic safety and R0 resection. However, this course by Dr Shraddha Goel & Dr Sourabh Rawat has been an eye-opener for me, specifically reconstructive and functional restoration for survivors. The techniques for vulvo-vaginal rejuvenation and the use of energy-based devices for radiation-induced atrophy are invaluable additions to my survivorship clinic. “The in-depth review of applied pelvic anatomy in this course was exceptional. Even for a seasoned surgeon, the nuanced approaches to labiaplasty and hymenoplasty taught by them, offer refined tools for patients requiring complex vulvar reconstruction following radical procedures. The hands-on sessions provided a high level of surgical confidence.” Highly recommend this program for colleagues in Gyn-Onco. It provides a structured, evidence-based approach to managing treatment-related sequelae like vaginal laxity and dyspareunia. By integrating these aesthetic and functional modalities into my practice, i hope to improve the quality of life and body image for my patients post-multimodality treatment.
