Tonsillitis in children and homoeopathy.
A large number of children suffer from frequent attacks of tonsillitis. Inflammation of tonsils is known as tonsillitis. Tonsils are a pair of soft tissue masses located at the back of the throat. The function of tonsils is to trap germs entering the throat, so that infection can be prevented.
Common symptoms of tonsillitis are throat pain, fever, difficulty in swallowing, difficulty in breathing, bad breath etc. On the use of antibiotics, tonsils inflammation gets suppressed, for a few days only and the infection reappears again. The conjunctiva is a thin layer, that runs over the white part of the eye, including the inside of the eyelids. Conjunctivitis, commonly known as ‘pink eye’ is the inflammation of the conjunctiva. In this, the small vessels of the conjunctiva become inflamed and visible, giving the eye red or pink colour.

Conjunctivitis is commonly caused by bacterial or viral infection, or due to some allergic reaction, or may be in children who have incompletely opened lachrymal duct.
