72 yrs old male patient had distal femur shaft fracture, got operated outside where broad LCDCP plate inserted and wound was not closed.. fracture opened up after 3 weeks...I did nail removal, double plating with bone grafting and skin grafting in single stage.. fracture united after 3 months and patient started walking without support..patient still has limp because of osteoarthritis hip same side..
