O/E
Tibiofemoral angle ( Rt-40 degree, Left 25 degree)
Laboratory result shows Vitamin D-8.15 ( Deficient), Serum Calcium-7.9 (Low), Serum phosphorous-2.29 (Low), Serum Alkaline phosphate- 472 ( High)
Started on medical management ( Vitamin D3 60000 IU once a week)
Did Medial Closed wedge osteotomy + 2 K wire fixation right side

Presented this case titled "Management of fixed flexion deformity of the knee in an arthrogrypotic child- a case report" in POSICON 25 held at Ahmedabad.
7 year old male child with arthrogryposis suffering from the fixed flexion deformity of the bilateral knee joint noticed by parents since birth.
Inability to stand or walk. The patient has never walked since birth.
On examination fixed flexion deformity of both knees is 70 degrees with gross restriction of knee joint movements. The child could kneel walk.
The deformity was corrected in two stages. Medial hamstring lengthening was done in the first stage followed by wedging of plaster after one week. Significant correction of deformity was achieved. FFD of both the knees improved from 70 degrees to about 45 degrees. Supracondylar recurvatum osteotomy was done in the second stage after three months with full correction of the deformity. Now the patient can ambulate without support.

Presented two posters titled "Management of fixed flexion deformity of the knee in an arthrogrypotic child- a case report" and "Treatment of gene valgum by medial closed wedge osteotomy- a case series of six patients" at POSICON 25 held at The Forum Convention Center, ClubO7, Ahmedabad. We had a wonderful time at the conference and learned a lot of new and innovative things in paediatric Orthopaedics.

Oberoi Hospital, 8 Gujral Nagar, Jalandhar City in collaboration with Kanval International Rehabilitation Foundation (KIRF) organised a one day conference on Cerebral Palsy and Recently Advances in management of locomotor disabilities, operative and non-operative, Pre and post operative management in Jammu Writer's club, Canal Road, Jammu. A lot of eminent speakers gave presentations about the management and treatment strategies on various locomotor disabilities including post spinal paraplegia with special emphasis on cerebral palsy. A wonderful presentation was given on digital disability and time management by the eminent speakers. I gave three presentations:
1. Early Clubfoot management
2. Botox in Spastic Cerebral Palsy
3. Charcot Marie Tooth Disease-Illustration of five cases

Right thigh short, Right hip dislocated but reducible
Did Hip Adductor tenotomy + Closed reduction + Hip spica application in humane position (90 degree flexion, 45 degree abduction and external rotation)
Pre reduction, immediate post reduction, 3 weeks post reduction and 8 weeks post reduction x ray images

9 month old female child
Congenital Talipes Equino varus (Clubfoot) bilateral side
Applied 4 above knee cast according to ponseti technique at one week interval each in abduction and supination
Final cast applied after Tendo-Achilles tenotomy for 3 weeks ( 70 degree abduction and 15 degree dorsiflexion)
Followed by dennis brown splint in 70 degree abduction on both sides ( 23/24 hours for first 3 months 21/24 hours for next 3 months and then nap time and night time till 4 years of age)

CP with spastic diplegia with crouched gait
C/O Difficulty in walking
Walks with crouching in both sides
Spasticity and contracture in bilateral lower limbs
Spasticity in bilateral hip adductors and bilateral medial hamstrings
Did hip adductor tenotomy + medial hamstring lengthening followed by AFO, knee gaiters and physiotherapy
