Hello Everyone,

Iam here to ask your help in saving a 14 year old boy who tearfully prays for a miracle everyday.
Ishan is a boy held tightly in the clutches of Spinal Muscluar Atrophy type 2, a degenerative gentice disease that affects motor neurons.

The hundreds of hours we spent outdoors playing is an impossible dream for Ishan. He can barely hold a ball in his weak hands. He cries and prays to god to give him strength but his prayers are not enough. Only Rs 5 Crore can give him the life he dreams of.

We’ve started a fundraiser on ImpactGuru but we cannot reachout to Lakhs of people on our own. This is why we need you to hear our pleas and share Ishan’s story on your platform(Social Media Profile).

“Sometimes Ishan shuts his eyes as tightly as possible, bows his head and sings a prayer between sobs. He prays along with his mom day and night to Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, hoping one of them would hear his prayers.
But he can barely sit and pray, and wonders if that’s why the Gods are angry with him.

How do we tell him, the gods are not angry! It is just that his sweet prayers are not enough to get Rs.5 Crore to get him his life-saving treatment, Evrysdi (Rysdiplam).

SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2 has eaten away his muscles and will now eat away his dreams. He wants to throw and catch balls but he can barely hold a crayon. He is 14 now and all he wants is someone to hear his pleas.

Hi friends, my Son, Ishan is in need right now!

He is suffering from SMA type 2

Spinal muscular atrophy is a genetic disorder characterized by weakness and wasting (atrophy) in muscles used for movement (skeletal muscles). It is caused by a loss of specialized nerve cells, called motor neurons that control muscle movement.The muscles most affected are those closest to the center of the body, such as those of the shoulders, hips, thighs, and upper back. The lower limbs seem to be affected more than the upper limbs

At this stage, getting help has been very difficult for us. Also the family has exhausted all their savings. This huge amount of 5,000,0000 is the biggest barrier in front of us. On our own I'm sure it's impossible to achieve this amount but with your help I know NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

I urge you all to contribute in any capacity which will help my Son live a normal life. Every contribution of yours will make a lifesaving difference and help ease this burden of his.
