Three months ago, we operated on a patient with a large CP angle tumor that was severely compressing his brainstem, leading to difficulty in walking, severe headaches, and hydrocephalus.
In a single surgical session, we performed a V-P shunt to relieve the hydrocephalus, followed by complete excision of the tumor.
Using advanced intraoperative neuromonitoring, we were able to achieve total tumor removal while preserving the facial nerve — critical for maintaining facial function.

In this video, we perform a micro-endoscopic decompression and discectomy for a CAPF jawan who has been suffering from chronic pain for the last 10 years, along with recent onset foot drop. After a thorough evaluation and advanced imaging, we used a minimally invasive approach to treat the condition. I am very happy and thrilled to announce that our Neurosciences team performed the first of its kind Surgery in the region. We performed deep brain stimulation electrode implantation using the Medtronics percept electrodes with brainsense technology , for a patient with young onset Parkinson's disease.

This breakthrough surgical procedure shall provide a new lease on life to our patient.

DBS Surgery is a highly effective surgical procedure for conditions like advanced Parkinson's disease, essential tremors, dystonias, select patients with epilepsy. It may also work in patients with chronic depression and schizophrenia amongst other conditions.
