On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special Blood Donation Camp was organized by SGL Hospital at SGL Nursing College. The camp was inaugurated by the Vice Chairman and CEO of the hospital, S. Maninder Pal Singh Riar.

During the camp, a large number of students and faculty members of the nursing college enthusiastically donated blood, making a significant contribution towards the welfare of humanity.

On this occasion, the Principal of the college and other hospital staff members were also present.

The camp was inaugurated by the hospital’s Vice Chairman and CEO, S.Maninderpal Singh Riar.

Hundreds of patients received free Bone Mineral Density tests and X-rays.

On this occasion, the hospital’s Medical Superintendent, orthopedic specialists, and staff members were also present.

Bleeding after menopause is a significant clinical symptom and should never be ignored.

At SGL Hospital, Jalandhar, a 69-year-old postmenopausal woman was successfully treated for symptomatic uterine fibroids. Diagnostic evaluation revealed multiple uterine fibroids responsible for bleeding and abdominal pain. Timely investigations ruled out any evidence of malignancy.

An incidental, rare diaphragmatic abnormality was also detected, which was asymptomatic.

Following successful surgical management, the patient made a complete recovery.

Postmenopausal bleeding or persistent abdominal pain warrants prompt medical evaluation.

ਐੱਸ.ਜੀ.ਐੱਲ. ਹਸਪਤਾਲ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ 69 ਸਾਲਾ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਦਾ ਫਾਇਬਰਾਇਡ ਲਈ ਸਫਲ ਇਲਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਯੂਟ੍ਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਗਾਂਠਾਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ, ਜੋ ਬਲੀਡਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਟ ਦਰਦ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਨ। ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਾਂਚ ਨਾਲ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ।

ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡਾਯਾਫ੍ਰਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਰਲੱਭ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਵੀ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ, ਜੋ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਲੱਛਣ ਦੇ ਸੀ।
