Check this if you are not loosing weight despite following good diet and exercises.
Waking up late and sleeping during the day can silently lead to weight gain.
Ayurveda explains this clearly:
Sleeping after sunrise and daytime sleep increase Kapha dosha, which is responsible for heaviness, fat accumulation, lethargy, and slow metabolism.
Modern science supports the same idea in a different language.
Late waking and day sleep disturb the circadian rhythm, leading to:
• Slower metabolism
• Hormonal imbalance
• Altered cortisol–melatonin balance
• Increased blood sugar levels
• Thyroid dysfunction
• Fluid retention
The combination of Kapha accumulation + hormonal disturbance makes a person feel lazy, less motivated, and more prone to weight gain.
If weight loss is your goal:
✔️ Wake up before sunrise (Brahma Muhurta)
✔️ Avoid daytime sleeping (Divaswap)
✔️ Ensure 7–8 hours of quality sleep at night
Weight management doesn’t start in the gym.
It starts with fixing your sleep–wake cycle.
This is first check i do, few more checks i will share in upcoming posts.
