*Foreign body ingestion* म्हणजेच विजातीय पदार्थ गिळणे.....
लहान मुलां च्या इमर्जन्सी एण्डोस्कोपीचे सगळ्यात मूख्य कारण आहे. बटण बॅटरी म्हणजेच सेल गिळणे हे सर्वात वाईट आहे. काही मीनीटातच ही आतड्याना इजा करते यामध्ये अल्सर , रक्तस्त्राव आणि आतड्यांना छिद्र पडून perforation लगेच होऊ शकते. ज्यांना deep ulcers होतात त्यांना नंतर अन्ननलिका जठर अथवा लहान आतडे निमुळते होऊन stricture होते.
या सर्व कारणासाठी च बटन 🔋 बॅटरी ही लगेच ऐंडोस्कोपी ने काढणे गरजेचे आहे.

ह्या सर्व गोष्टी ऐंडॉस्कॉपी ने लगेच काढणे अत्यंत गरजेचे आहे. प्रौढ लोकामध्ये बऱ्याचदा दातांची कवळी, मोठी गोळी, मांसाहार करणाऱ्या मध्ये हाड/बोन, इत्यादी वस्तू अडकू शकतात.
कोणतीही विजातीय वस्तू(foreign
body) गिळल् गिळल्या नंतर केळे खाऊ घालणे अथवा उलटी करून काढण्याचा प्रयत्न करणे हे अतिशय *चूकीचे* आहे.

Many IBD - ULCERATIVE COLITIS AND CROHN'S DISEASE patients attended the programme. They all thoroughly enjoyed all the lectures. Dr Chris G. From Germany delivered very informative sessions regarding treatment and recent advances in treatment. Dr. Muthey very beautifully spoke on mental health in IBD which included how to handle stress and fight with this Chronic illness. Dietician Mrs Kulkarni specifically spoke on importance of Indian diet and all dietary issues. Certified yoga trainer Mr Shantanu gave detail demonstration of important Yoga-asanas beneficial for IBD patients.
