ACCUSED IN ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE ARRESTED WITHIN 48 HRS

SAMBA August 10: Samba Police arrested an accused in attempt to murder case registered at P/S Ghagwal within 48 hrs after commission of crime.

According to the report, On 08.08.2020, A written complaint was lodged by one Sukhvir Kumar S/o Rattan Chand R/O Madhoon, Rajpura stating therein that at around 6:30 pm his father Rattan Chand S/o Manga Ram R/O Madhoon, Rajpura while returning home after feeding animals near brick klin was attacked by accused Danesh S/o Keshav Singh R/O Madhoon, Rajpura with wooden lathi on his head with the intention to kill him causing grievous injuries.

On this, a case FIR No. 83/2020 U/S 341/307/323 IPC got registered at P/S Ghagwal and manhunt launched to nab the accused person.

After hectic efforts put forth by Police team of PP Rajpura, the said accused has been arrested from Malani, Rajpura .

Further investigation into the case is going on.

SAMBA POLICE RECOVERED 02 STOLEN BIKES WITHIN 24 HOURS

Vijaypur :-District Police Samba recovered 02 stolen motorcycles within 24 hours in two seperate theft cases registered at P/S Vijaypur.

On 7th of August 2020, a written complaint was also lodged by complainant namely Rustam Khokar S/o Hira Lal R/O Ward No. O5, H. No. 130, Vijaypur-regarding theft of his motorcycle (Pulsar) bearing Regd. No. JK21E-7880 parked in front of his house. On this a case FIR No. 138/2020 U/S 379 IPC* was registered at P/S Vijaypur.

On the same day, another written complaint was lodged by complainant namely Bhola Nath Bali R/O Ward No. 03 Kothey Camp, Vijaypur regarding theft of his motorcycle (Passion Plus) bearing Regd. No. JK02AA-9327 parked near Vishavkarma temple, Vijaypur. On this a case FIR No. 139/2020 U/S 379 IPC was registered at P/S Vijaypur and investigation started.

Acting swiftly, Police team of P/S Vijaypur traced out both the stolen motorcycles with 24 hours. Moreover the search of unknown culprits is going on during which one suspect namely Pritam Singh S/o Mohan Singh R/O Jerda, Ramgarh was arrested in the instant matter.

Further investigation is going on.

UDHAMPUR, Aug 8: A young housewife died under mysterious circumstances at village Majalta.

According to the police report, Eva Raina (27), wife of Vikrant Sharma of Majalta, was brought at PHC Majalta where doctors declared her as brought dead. She was brought to the hospital by her in-laws , who tried to take away the body without postmortem.

On getting information in this, a Police team headed by SHO Vishal Sharma rushed to the spot and got the post mortem of the dead body conducted.

An FIR under relevant sections has been registered in this connection at Police Station Majalta and investigation of the case has been taken up.
