Two day mega medical camp commences at 72 BPM Healthcare
JAMMU, JANUARY 10: In an endeavour to raise general health awareness and to highlight the importance of regular health check ups, two day mega medical camp being organized by Rotary Club of Jammu City in partnership with 72 BPM Healthcare--Multi Specialty Hospital, Channi Himmat commenced here on Saturday.
Doctors from various specialties and super-specialties along with paramedic staff will attend to patients and try to raise awareness about diseases in their respective fields. Patients will get ample opportunity to interact with doctors to enquire and gain knowledge concerning ailments.
This free medical health camp has been organized under one of the social projects namely; 'Be Better Informed Your Health' organized by Rotary Club of Jammu City under their mission "Swasthya JammuKashmir".
Teams of doctors are examining the problems related to general health, general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, physiotherapy, ENT, orthopedics, neurology, clinical nutrition, surgical oncology and dental departments and very much providing their best of consultations and general health checkups to all age groups.
Blood pressure check, uric acid test, blood sugar test, diet charts, neuropathy test and physiotherapy will be done free.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were Raman Bhalla, Ex-Minister Revenue, Dr Roma Wani, Secretary, International Red Cross Society, Sohail Kazmi and officials from Rotary Club of Jammu city.
Around 250-300 people were benefited from the camp. Homeopathic medicines were also given to the people.
While talking to the media personals, Chairman and Directors of this ultra-modern hospital, introduced their organization such as in real quest to provide qualities' innovative and imaginative range of services to the society at large and quite willing to offer their whole range of services at the doorsteps of public in general
and that too on lowest possible affordable expenses.
"To comply with these standard elements, we have a process driven approach in all aspects of hospital activities from registration, admission, pre-surgery and post-surgery protocols, discharge from the hospital to follow-up with the hospital after discharge etc", said the organizers.
