Under the guidance of worthy Director AYUSH J&K Dr.AJAY TICKOO and supervison of Dr. RAKESH RAINA ( A.D Jammu) and Deputy M.S Dr. ARUNA BHAT , Free Medical Aid Ayush Stall was installed at “ The Grand Majestic Mishriwala by Ayush team lead by Dr. ARUN GUPTA,Dr. HIMANI BHUTYAL Dr.SUNIL KAUL ,Dr. PARAMJEET PURI (Medical officers), Mr. KAMAL NETRA ( pharmacist), Mr.MOHINDER SINGH(MPW) and Mr. AKHILESH ( MTS) . The stall was installed on Celebration of “Jammu & Kashmir Cultural Festival 2026 “.where chief Guest was HON’BLE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOUR OF UT OF J&K SH. MANOJ SINHA . *A warm farewell party was organised on the occasion of Superannuation of Dr. Suresh Kumar Sharma Director Ayush /MD NAM J&K UT on 31/01/2026 by District Ayush Office Jammu .Dr. Suresh Sharma M.D (Ayurveda)was honored for over three decades of service in the AYUSH department of Jammu and Kashmir.* The function was attended by Dr Shuja Assistant Director Ayush ,Dr. Vandana Dogra Medical Superintendent Govt Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu/District Ayush Officer Jammu, Sh. Vishesh Kappor Account Officer Directorate of Ayush alongwith with Medical Officers and otherstaffof District Jammu. Dr. Suresh Sharma ji was praised for his, "tireless efforts" in promoting Ayush practices and healthcare in state of Jammu and Kashmir.His efforts in strengthening the health care infrastructure , fostering research and development has earned him respect from peers and public alike.Every body wished him happy, healthy and fulfilling post retirement life and hoped that his experience ,wisdom and passion for Ayush practices and Yoga may benefit the community.

A medical aid and awareness camp was organised.which was inaugurated by

(BJP HEALTH AND MEDICAL CELL CONVENER JAMMU AND KASHMIR),
SANJAY MANHAS
BJP LEADER(J&K).Ayush camp team was LED by Dr.HIMANI BHUTYAL (M.O),Dr.SANDEEP BHAGAT (M.O), sh.TARA CHAND(snr.pharmacist ) and sh.Mohinder(MPW) from Distt. Jammu and Dr. DILAWER KHAN (M.O),
PRABHJOT(Intern), DHRUV(Intern),RAGHAV(MTS) from Govt Ayurvedic Hospital Shalamar in collaboration with DIVA International foundation (Mr. AMARDEEP SASSAN) at Bhagwati nagar as per the directions.
Activities done:-
1) Health check up done and free Ayush consultation given .
2) IEC material distribution.
3.Awareness on life style modification,yogic counseling and seasonal diseases was given.
4)Immune boosting and free disease specific medicines were given.
