Occasionally, yes, but not always. The majority of the time, there is a deeper cause, and one of these may be it.

Being around a diet culture, which teaches us to restrict particular food items, can be one of the main causes of losing control over food. More than diet culture, however, it is the beliefs surrounding diet culture that are to blame.

Here's the real deal on how to get rid of tummy fat.

People seeking for tips, diets, and recipes to lose belly fat make up 70% of my Dm.

This is how you do it; this is it.

Let's have a discussion about it.

No matter how hard you try, spot reduction is not achievable. Instead, if you want to lose fat in a specific place, you must exercise throughout your entire body while maintaining a calorie deficit. After that, your body will decide which area it wants to target for reduction first.

What more are we actually capable of doing than moaning about spot reduction? Here's the situation:

1. Having optimal protein, having 0.7-2g of protein (depending upon your goals, and activity levels) per kg is absolutely fine and essential for your body.

2. Focus on strength training: the super cool fact about strength training is, it keeps your metabolism going, turns fat into muscle, and makes you lose actual fat and not just on the scale! Amazing, right?

3. Calorie deficit, calorie deficit, calorie deficit: I cannot emphasize this point enough, the secret to fat loss is calorie deficit. No matter how hard you try, you cannot lose fat without a calorie deficit.

4. 80% healthy food: See, being a dietitian, this is the best piece of advice that I can give you, your diet doesn’t have to be perfect, you have to enjoy your favorite foods in moderation. So its okay if you’re eating clean 80% of the time and enjoying the other 20%, you truly deserve it✨

So now comes the part, WHAT NOT TO DO?

-Do not take fat burners and supplements, they’ll do more harm than good, trust me.

-Don’t focus a lot on a lot of cardio. (Nada, not required.)

-Cutting out food groups is absolutely useless, IT IS NOT SUSTAINABLE. (I mean till when will you not have them? )

-Do not wear those absolutely uncomfortable and useless slimming belts, those do not do anything apart from giving you discomfort and momentary satisfaction.

Also if any dietitian promises you spot reduction, you need to run away from her!

So, now that we’ve cleared out everything, you now know which track you need to choose!

For once,
Let's not discuss how sugar is for health

Why? Because if someone gets sugar cravings then someone gets sugar cravings.

Let's be realistic. You cannot start disliking sugar just because you want to get healthier or you want to diet.

But the point here is that we make sugar the culprit but you can have sugar in a calorie deficit if taken mindfully.

I have very often seen people leaving sugar in their teas and coffees and then having cookies or biscuits filled with much more sugar and much more calories along with it.

You cannot expect to eat a brownie and then blame it on sugar. Do you know how much butter goes inside it?

Choose wisely how you wish to fulfill your cravings.

My suggestion: of course yes if you are someone who can be contended by eating jaggery or 2 dates for the cravings then go for it but for most of you

👉 you can have 2-3 pc of chocolate bar

👉 have frozen yogurt

👉 have Indian desserts like Ras Malai, kheer, and rasgulla as they are predominantly milk based with sugar in it

Just try that your sweet treat is not high in both- fats and sugars and enjoy

It has to be done in a certain way.

People assume that leaving carbs will make them lose weight but carbs are not your enemies.

And what happens every time you go a little off the track? You think let it be and then you will restart on Monday or 1st of the next month or after some milestone

Next time you go shopping, don't hesitate to look for pasteurized options and read the labels!

You might need to conduct additional research or make inquiries if you only purchase food from farms or at farmer's markets.

Keep in mind that pasteurization only reduces the likelihood of hazardous microorganisms being present in the product.

Utilize your intuition as well—a lot of it's stronger than you might imagine!

Don't eat the cheese if it has an off-putting appearance or fragrance (funkier than a typical cheese scent).
