💉👶 Did you know your baby’s 6-month vaccines aren’t just the “usual ones”?

At 6 months, IAP recommends starting:
✔️ Flu vaccine — protects against seasonal influenza 🤧 (2 doses in the first year, then yearly)
✔️ Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine (TCV) — protects against typhoid fever 🦠, very common in India

These aren’t a part of the government schedule, but they give your baby extra protection against infections that spread easily.

Parents, don’t miss this milestone!

💉✨ Zero Dose Vaccines — your baby’s very first protection! ✨💉

The journey of immunity starts right at birth. Within the first 24 hours, every newborn should receive the Zero Dose vaccines:
✔️ OPV (oral polio drops – “do boond zindagi ki”)
✔️ BCG (protection against TB)
✔️ Hepatitis B (protection for the liver)

These vaccines are FREE under the government programme and are your baby’s first shield against deadly diseases. 💙

📌 Parents, remember: don’t delay these birth doses.

✨ “My toddler is hitting — what should I do?” ✨

Hitting in children between 18 months–3 years is not “bad behavior” — it’s a developmental milestone. Little ones don’t yet have the words for big emotions, so they use their hands.

❌ Don’t punish.
❌ Don’t shame.
âś… Do stay calm.
✅ Do teach: “Hands are not for hitting. Use words.”
âś… Do praise when they express feelings without hitting.

đź’ˇ Remember: hitting is a phase. With calm, consistency, and guidance, children learn healthier ways to communicate.

đźš« Parents, stop right there! đźš«
I’ve seen so many posts promoting mouth taping in kids – and it’s NOT safe. ❌

👉 It can actually increase the risk of suffocation and delay finding the real cause behind mouth breathing.
👉 Mouth breathing in children is usually a sign of an underlying medical problem – allergies, enlarged tonsils/adenoids, or nasal obstruction.

✨ Instead of quick fixes, always get your child checked by a pediatrician/ENT to find the root cause.

💡 Remember: Healthy breathing = Healthy growth. Don’t tape it, treat it!
