Under the guidance of Dr. Suresh Kumar Sharma worthy Director Ayush J&K and supervision of Dr. Vandana Dogra Medical Superintendent GAH Jammu and Dr. Aruna Bhat Deputy Medical Superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu, a Medical Aid Camp and Women Wellness Awareness Program organized at Village Narrari Bala in convergence with White Knight Corps and Crossed Sword Division on 26th September 2025 under Swastha Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan. Adolescent Health Screening and Awareness lectures were delivered by Dr. Arun Gupta and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur. 289 patients were examined by the team of doctors and free Ayush Medicines were dispensed among patients by the team of Paramedical comprising of Mr. Raghav MTS, Mr. Sachin and Mr. Tilak under trainee pharmacists
Awareness on Ayush ways of preventing and screening of common gynecological disorders. Women Wellness Kits comprising of Ayush Nutritional Supplements were also distributed among the participants. Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Under the aegis of Directorate J&K AYUSH, and supervision of Respected Medical Superintendent GAH Jammu and District Ayush officer, Dr. Vandana Dogra ji and Dy. MS Dr. Aruna Bhat ji , on the launch of SWSTHA NARI, SASHAKT PARIVAR ABHIYAN and Inauguration of 8th RASHTRIYA POSHAN MAAH a free medical aid and awareness camp was organised at Govt. Hospital Gandhi nagar today on 17/09/2025 . The team was led by Dr. Aftab Iqbal, Dr. Arun Gupta, Dr. Pooja sharma, Dr. Vimal Sharma, Dr. Sanjay koul, Dr. Jatinder kour.
Ichpal singh( Jr. Pharmacist), Nidhi sharma ,Neha chib( yoga therapists), Satinder Singh(MPW) and Raghav (MTS). An Awareness lecture was delivered and females and Anganwadi workers are also awared with facilities of PRASOOTI UNIT OF GAH and medicines were distributed to anganwadi workers. Chief guests named jughal kishore( Hon'ble Member of Parliament Jammu) , Vikram Randhawa(Hon'ble Member Legislative Assembly )UT of J&K , Rakesh minhas( Worthy Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sh. Rakesh Minhas), Dr Harbans Singh(CMO) and other dignitaries visited the stall and Staff on the stall briefed the dignitaries about various Ayush Components of Women Wellness including Nutritional Supplement Kits, Pregnancy Care Kits, Post Partum Care Kits, Menopause Care Kits, Adolescent Health Kits and IEC Materials and they appreciated the work of Ayush department . Also Assistant Director Ayurveda Dr. Rakesh raina ji and District Ayush officer Dr. Vandana dogra MS GAH visited and inspected the functioing of Ayush unit Gandhi Nagar.Total no. of beneficiaries- 259. *COUNTDOWN TO IDY 2025**YOGA MAHAKUMBHA- SAMYOGA **
As a part of 11th INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY under the component, in the lastweek of IDY Yoga Mahakumbha program- A 3 days Yoga Workshop is organized at Govt.Medical College Jammu in Pharmacology Department under the guidance of Director Ayush Dr.Nuzhat Bashir Shah & supervision of MS Govt.Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu and District Ayush Officer Dr Vandana Dogra and Deputy Medical Superintendent Govt . Ayurvedic Hospital Dr Aruna Bhat. The program was coordinated by Dr. Amanpreet Kaur and Dr. Amardeep kour under the supervision of Dr. Seema Head of Department Pharmacology, GMC Jammu.
