KVS Jammu Region Regional Office Jammu is one out of the 25 Regional Offices under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan havin j&k, Punjab and himachal Pradesh.

Around 50 years of its existence, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan- An Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, has grown into a vibrant organization catering to the educational needs of more than a million students studying in about 1090 Kendriya Vidyalayas situated AS ON 1.8.2012 in various parts of the country and abroad (Moscow, Kathmandu and Tehran) with a staff strength of about 49,286 (INCLUDING OUTSOURCED) ON ROLL AS ON 01.07.2011 AND 10.91,931 STUDENTS AS ON 31.03.2012. Regional Office Jammu is one out of the 25 Regional Offices under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan having administrative control over 52 Kendriya Vidyalayas (DEFENCE-24, CIVIL-23 & PROJECT-5) spread in different states i.e. It came into existence in 1984. It is located near Govt Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
