⚠️ Beware of Quackery in Dermatology ⚠️
Quackery in dermatology is becoming a serious concern today. Many unqualified individuals are falsely presenting themselves as “cosmetologists” or “skin specialists” and offering treatments without proper medical knowledge.
This is not just misleading—it can be dangerous.
A genuine dermatologist undergoes years of rigorous medical training to diagnose and treat skin, hair, and nail conditions safely. In contrast, fake practitioners may use inappropriate treatments, leading to complications, worsening of disease, or even permanent damage.
🎥 My dear friend Dr. Ratanakar shukla has taken a commendable step by creating an awareness video to expose such practices and protect innocent patients.
👉 Public Awareness is Key:
• Always verify the doctor’s qualifications (MBBS + MD/DNB /DVD in Dermatology)
• Check registration with medical councils
• Be cautious of exaggerated claims and “instant results”
• Avoid treatments from unverified clinics or individuals
🚫 Don’t fall into the trap of so-called “skin doctors” without proper credentials.
✅ Your skin deserves safe, scientific, and ethical care from qualified dermatologists.
