This lower molar came with a twist — an extra radix entomolaris canal and a periapical lesion.
Managed conservatively with proper canal location, disinfection, calcium hydroxide dressing & final obturation in multiple visits.

A 22-year-old male patient presented with a fractured maxillary left central incisor (tooth #21) due to trauma.
On clinical examination, an uncomplicated crown fracture was noted. The tooth was asymptomatic and vital.
A direct composite restoration was done using shade-matched composite resin.The natural contour and aesthetics of the tooth were successfully restored.

Diagnosis -
Previously root canal treated tooth #46 with symptomatic apical periodontitis.

Multiple visit calcium hydroxide dressing placed till canals became asymptomatic and dry before final obturation #46

9 months follow up shows well adapted obturation and periapical healing 🙏🏻
