Jhansi Orthopedic Hospital & Research Centre (JOH) is the brainchild of Dr. D.K.Gupta, a highly respected and renowned Orthopedic Surgeon, who retired as Prof. & Head, Dept. He has always believed that Quality Health care is not an option but a fundamental right of every human being. Therefore, it pained and disappointed him when the people of Jhansi and Bundelkhand region had to travel to nearby metro cities in search of a good healthcare set-up. With the aim to make best healthcare available and accessible to all, he laid the foundation stone of Jhansi Orthopedic Hospital in 1997. Since then his humble service and surgical expertise has spread smiles and added miles in the lives of lakhs of people. After Dr. Gaurav kumar, a pioneer in Field of Joint replacement and Sports medicine joined JOH, the hospital underwent a metamorphosis with addition of Ultra Modern Operation theaters, state-of-art equipments and first-class facilities and services. Dr. Gaurav Kumar is internationally trained surgeon with extravagant clinical experience from fellowships in Switzerland and Germany. Dr. Gaurav has an unmatched surgical expertise and his performance-driven, patient-centric attitude and evidence-based practice has resulted in excellent patient outcomes over the years. Jhansi Orthopaedic Hospital and Research Centre has now expanded into a Centre of Excellence for Orthopaedic Super Specialty with high standards of care that are at par with global health-care facilities.

Gupta. Equipped with most modern orthopaedic surgical equipments JOH is the only hospital in the region and among very few hospitals in the state which have modular operation theater complex to provide the best possible infection free environment for ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERIES. Joint Replacement surgeries have been the specialty of our orthopaedic surgeons as Dr. D.K.Gupta performing Hip Replacement surgeries way back since early 80 and With the vast experience of A.O certified orthopaedic surgeon DR. Gaurav Kumar who did his fellowship in field of TKR (Knee Replacement) from Germany and Breach Kandy (Mumbai) We are the pioneer in the field of Knee Replacement Surgeries. Jhansi Orthopaedic Hospital has the credit to bring Joint Replacements in Region of Jhansi , we are the only hospital of the region to provide Computer Assisted Joint Replacement aka Navigated Joint Replacements.
