Embracing the Unexpected: My Journey with Spanda
Initially, Virendra Anna had an exciting proposition for me to travel to Kenya and capture it all. I was thrilled about the opportunity, but my end semester exams crept in, posing a challenge. Despite my efforts to convince the college administration, they warned me that repeating the semester would be the consequence if I went ahead with the trip. Determined to make the best of the situation, I decided to work with what I had.
staying back in India, I took charge of handling and editing the content coming from Kenya. Balancing my commitments with Spanda part-time and managing other aspects of my life, everything was falling into place. Little did I know that another unexpected turn was about to shape my journey.
As I had everything planned for my upcoming college internship with Indian Oil in Mathura starting on May 15th, out of the blue, our Spanda's founder extended a spontaneous invitation to join them in Delhi. Without any concrete plans for Mathura, I embraced the uncertainty and enthusiastically said yes to Delhi, ready to welcome whatever comes my way.
I left for Delhi on the 10th of May, Little did we know that these five days in Delhi would become a turning point for all of us. Working tirelessly, often into the early hours, it never felt like work; rather, it felt like a shared passion, a collective drive to see Spanda flourish.
Spanda evolved beyond being just a startup to me during those precious moments. It transformed into an obsession, a shared dream we nurtured together. I always had this question,
what does it take to build a team that genuinely believes in your vision, Could there be a greater motivation than money when it comes to work?
I think those 5 days gave me the answer! I genuinely feel it's the purpose that binds you.
As the Media Director of Spanda, I am truly thrilled about the future, we have a lot of things planned, and I just can't wait to see all that rolling out.
