Dr. Madhulika Mhatre is a trained dermatologist specializing in all skin and hair related problems. She finished her M.D with distinction and is a gold medalist. She has also completed a fellowship in Medical Cosmetology under esteemed dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon, Dr. Venkataram Mysore and a Trichology fellowship in one of the premier institutes in Mumbai. As one of the founder members, I am really happy to declare that today, on the occasion of World Vitiligo Day, we have officially launched the Vitiligo Foundation of India (VFI). After months of discussions, zoom meetings and brainstorming, this endeavour has finally come to fruition
This is going to be a unique initiative which brings together dermatologists, basic sciences researchers working in Vitiligo and patients.

We are still on the nascent stage, so stay in tune for more updates.

The past few years have been excellent for vitiligo treatment wherein approved treatments have come to the fray. Lots of things that work, lots of ongoing research. The future indeed is very promising.
