Ph.D DEGREE AWARDED

Mayanglambam Victoria Devi has been conferred the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Agricultural Extension by School of Social Sciences, College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences (CPGS-AS), Central Agricultural University (Imphal), Umiam, Meghalaya for her thesis entitled ‘Social Simulation on Assimilation of Climate Smart Agricultural Practices in North Eastern Hill Region of India’.
The scientific research was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rajkumar Josmee Singh, Assistant Professor in Agricultural Extension, School of Social Sciences, CPGS - AS, CAU (I), Umiam, Meghalaya. During her research work, she received the Full - Term Doctoral Fellowship of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.
She has cleared University Grants Commission (UGC) NET 4 times and also cleared Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) NET. She has published 8 scientific research papers in reputed NAAS rated National and International journals, one book and two book chapters. She has attended 6 National and 1 International Seminar and has received ‘Best paper presentation’ 3 times. Her scientific study was awarded as 3rd ‘Best Research Project’ in the Anveshan-2020 at East Zone Inter University Students Research Convention held at Jadavpur University, Kolkata by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
At present, she is working as Assistant Professor in Agricultural Extension in Multi-Technology Testing Centre and Vocational Training Centre, College of Agricultural Engineering and Post Harvest Technology, Ranipool, Sikkim under CAU, Imphal, Manipur.
She is the 5th and youngest child of (L) M. Ibobi Singh and Th. Sanahanbi Devi of Kakching-Khunou Thingnam Ningthou Leikai, Kakching District, Manipur.

On Tuesday,13th of August, 2019, we are organising fifth Patriot's Day Observation. On this day, there will be recitation competitions, debating competition, quiz competition and jagoi changdamnba ect.
For recitation competition:
Cat- I : below class I (non-competitive category)
Cat-II: class I and class II
Cat-III: class III and Class IV
Cat-IV: class V and Class VI
Cat-V:classes VII and VIII
The poems will be of patriotism.
Debating competition:
Topic: "Leingakki schoolsing asina nongma nongmagi tapna tapna sitharakliba asigi daitya leingakna pujagadabani."
Cat- open to class xii
Jagoi Competition -
Cat- open upto class xii
Theme: Naatki and Leibak Ningba Isheida Yumpham Oiba
Quiz- class 10 standard. A school can be represented by three students. Syllabus: Science, GK, Social Science, Anglo Manipur War, Abbreviation, Iramadam Manipur, Audio and Current Affairs Rounds.
All questions are based on knowledge of Iramdam Manipur except science round.
Competitors may submit their names through their school at KD Book store/ M. Suresh Stationary/any executive member of KYTHO on or before 10th August, 2019. For jagoi competitions, competitors must submit their related song tracks on or before 12th August.
So, all the near and dear ones of KYTHO members are requested to participate in this function along with their children.

Dear Folks, we are organizing 4th Patriots Day i.e. 13th August on Monday, 13th August, 2018 at Chekshapat Mandop. On this day, recitation competitions, debate competition, quiz competition and jagoi competition in Patriotic song are also going to be held. Topic of the debate is: Tungi yumbirel oirakkadouriba angangsing asigi morale amadi educationda sokchillakliba asi mama mapa oibasing na diatya matik chana loudbadgini.
