Sankalp Charitable Trust Sankalp Charitable Trust is dedicated to the service of mankind. Established on 24th Dec 2007, the Trust has been doing yeoman service to the poor and needy.

It is established on 24th December 2007, since then the trust has been actively serving the poor and needy. The trust was started with a vision of social responsibility towards destitutes and handicapped of all ages. It aims to help the disadvantaged and down-trodden by encouraging that someone really cares for them. It organises annual camps supplying food and clothes to the needy.

The Ninth Annual Activity took place on 13th July 2014 at “Care & Love”, Jagathgirigutta, Hyderabad, an orphanage where around 30 children were taken care of.

A couple of times in the past, we have done our activities at this venue and we have already developed a kind of bonding with the kids there. This time we provided them with some of their major requirements like School Uniforms, Stationary, Night wear, Seasonal fruits, Kitchen and Bathroom items etc.

The tenth annual activity took place in December 2017 at Mathru Abhaya Foundation, Medipally Village, Ghatkesar Mandal, Rangareddy Dist., which looks after orphans and needy people. The foundation is directly taking care of 40 orphan children staying in the Ashramam. We, the team of Sankalp, in our capacity, helped them by paying complete school expenses for 15 children including their tuition fees, school uniform, books, exam fees etc., for the Academic Year 2017-18.

The eighth annual activity took place in February 2013 at Desire Society, IDA Bollaram Village, Medak, that provides institutional care homes for the children abandoned and orphaned by HIV/AIDS. The society is directly taking care of 62 orphan children and indirectly assuring care by providing periodical medical kits to about 300 children who are with their parents/relatives. We, the team of Sankalp, in our capacity, provided them with some of their major requirements like medicines, dinner plates and drinking glasses, bleaching powder for hygiene, exhaust fan for kitchen, raw materials for their everyday breakfast like kinds of flour, tamarind, edible oil etc., and distributed seasonal fruits and biscuits to the kids.

The Seventh annual activity took place in June 2012. This time we chose Bless Foundation, Dammaiguda, Hyderabad that takes responsibility for orphans, differently able, destitute and the less privileged children. Our team paid one term annual school fee for 22 inmates, provided school uniforms, funded for their school stationary like academic text books, neck ties, belts etc.

The Sixth annual activity took place on Sunday 10th July 2011. Once again we choose the predecessor event's venue for much assistance was needed for their endurance. Our team distributed stationary, eatables, clothes for the children and utensils to the orphanage. Children were made to participate in dancing and games. The winners and the children who were good at their academics were surprised with wrapped gifts comprising activity books, crayons etc.

The fifth annual activity was on "Telugu New Year's eve", 16th March. The predecessor event's venue was chosen this time. Sankalp presented food, clothes and stationary for the children and kitchen utensils to the orphanage's pantry. Children participated in dance events, musical games and drawing competitions. The winners of the competitions and the children who were academically above par were surprised with wrapped gifts comprising of activity books, crayons etc.

In January 2009, 34 destitute children of Care and Love Welfare Society, Jagathgirigutta, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, were provided with school uniforms, pajamas, footwear and some utensils for their kitchen needs by Sankalp. The kids exhibited their dancing skills and were awarded with drawing books, activity books and crayons.

We have supplied 100 blankets to the physically challenged children on the eve of New Year, at Visakhapatnam through our trust. The second activity was in January 2007 at Visakhapatnam. We distributed notebooks and clothes to the children at the "School for Deaf and Dumb".
