THE ROLE OF LEADERSHIP IN SAFETY

"Leaders can make or break an Organization." Leaders act as a catalyst for growth. Leadership plays a crucial role in ensuring safety within an organization. A strong safety culture begins at the top, with leaders setting the tone and establishing safety expectations throughout the workforce. The critical aspects of the role of leadership in safety include:-
Leading by Example:
Leaders who prioritize safety set an example for their teams. When leaders consistently adhere to safety protocols, They act as a role model and encourages employees to do the same. Visible leadership involves following safety rules and actively promoting and reinforcing safe behaviours.
Establishing a Safety Culture:
Leaders shape the organizational culture, and a positive safety culture emphasizes the importance of safety in all aspects of work. This includes integrating safety considerations into day-to-day business and decision-making processes.
Training and Education:
