Extremely happy to share the photo of our Beloved Princess born out ICSI treatment at Rhea hospital for a couple from UK ( England)
The couple was let down by many IVF clinics and was counseled to go for Donor treatment and at Rhea IVF we promised to give their own genetic biological child and we kept our promise 😀
Patient conceived in second cycle after undergoing minimally invasive corrective surgeries to retrieve their own good quality gametes before IVF treatment and we had very good numbers of D5
( Blastocyst) embryos to have successful pregnancy.

Here is the video from our state of art Embryology Lab at RHEA HOSPITAL, taken during a procedure of s***m extraction from the testicular tissue under anaesthesia to get s***ms from a husband who was advised in every other centre to go for Donor s***ms as he did not have s***ms in seminal fluid.

Egg pick up also called as O**M PICK UP is done under short GA under Trans Vaginal Ultrasound guidance & patient will never feel any pain during the procedure and even after the procedure.

The eggs are picked up along with follicular fluid ( blood tinged) and passed on to our senior Embryologist, who washes and process the eggs for
ICSI WITH HUSBAND’s S***MS.

O**m pick up is a delicate and skilled procedure and to be done by IVF consultants with high expertise in doing Ultrasound scans & procedures related.

If not done by experienced hands with high caution,
a patient might land up with injuries to bladder , bowel especially blood vessels , which might lead to life threatening complications!

At Rhea IVF and Women’s hospital, all the procedures, surgeries and scans are done by
Dr K Shanmugavadivu Venkatesan, by herself
