Pleased to inform you that with very very generous contributions from All of you we managed to send two truckloads of materials to Goonj...The 2nd truck was dispatched today...

Thankyou for helping us out right from spreading the word through social media,putting up details of the drive in your shops,societies,temples,gardens nd bhajani mandals too...!

Thankyou St Marys classes for readily giving us space to house the collection....

My friends Indrajeet,Ajay,Amit Bidwai,Mayank,Navin,Rohan,Kamal and my clinic family Dr Vrushali,Dr Ankita,Sonali,Kalyani,took upon themselves to make all the arrangements that day...

Right from setting up tables,picking up the heavy bags of materials,carefully sealing,stacking the them,noting down details of all those who shared the material, to patiently explaining to everyone about Goonj...!

Our patient Mr Karkhanis has been helping us with the transportation each time...! All sorts of help from All of you made it a great teamwork...!

All You Wanted To Know About Toothbrushes.... Part-2

Toothbrush Care and Replacement.

Toothbrushes can be breeding grounds for germs, fungus and bacteria, which after a while can build up to significant levels.
To keep your toothbrush and yourself healthy,
- After using your toothbrush, shake it vigorously under tap water and store it in an upright position so that it can air out.
- Do not cover toothbrushes or store them in closed containers. A moist environment such as a closed container is more conducive to the growth of microorganisms than the open air.
- To prevent cold and flu viruses from being passed between brushes, try to keep your toothbrush from touching others when it is stored.
- You should change your toothbrush every three months. Studies show that after three months of normal wear and tear, toothbrushes are much less effective at removing plaque from teeth and gums compared to new ones.
- It is also important to change toothbrushes after you've had a cold, the flu, a mouth infection or a sore throat. That's because germs can hide in toothbrush bristles and lead to reinfection.

We recently spent one sunday morning with kids staying at Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Mamnoli.
Our twins Jay & Shyam very easily mingled with them. All of them played games, sang songs together and soon there were smiles all over!!
True smiles....Smiles straight from their hearts..
It was then that we realised ...Beautiful smiles arent just about beautiful teeth....they are a reflection of a pure and beautiful heart !!
