മുകളില്‍ പറഞ്ഞത് 90 വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നേ കണ്ണൂര്‍ ടൌണിലെ ബെല്ലാര്‍ഡ് റോഡിലെ വ്യാപാര സ്ഥാപനത്തിലെ കലണ്ടറിലുള്ളതാണ്.

അതും അറബി മലയാളത്തില്‍.
പി. മൂസക്കുട്ടി ഹാജി. താജിറുല്‍ കുത്തുബ് വല്‍ അത്തര്‍ (പുസ്തകങ്ങളും അത്തറും വില്‍ക്കുന്നയാള്‍ എന്നര്‍ത്ഥം)
എന്നായിരുന്നു സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്‍റെ പേര്.

1877 ല്‍ ജനിച്ച് 1953 ല്‍ മരണപ്പെട്ട കണ്ണൂരുകാരനായ പാലോട്ട് മൂസക്കുട്ടി ഹാജിയുടെ വ്യാപാരസ്ഥാപനത്തിലെ പരസ്യമാണത്.

അന്നത്തെ കച്ചവട പരസ്യങ്ങള്‍ പത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെയും പിന്നെ ഇത്തരം കലണ്ടറുകളിലൂടെയുമായിരുന്നു. അന്ന് പോസ്റ്റ് കാര്‍ഡിലോ ടെലിഗ്രാം വഴിയോ ആണ് ആളുകള്‍ സാധനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഒാര്‍ഡര്‍ ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്.
ഇന്നത്തെ പാക്കിസ്ഥാന്‍‍, ഈജിപ്ത്, തുര്‍ക്കി തുടങ്ങിയ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് വരെ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഒാര്‍ഡര്‍ ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു.

അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ മരണ ശേഷം മകന്‍ ടി.മുഹമ്മദ് കുഞ്ഞിയായിരുന്നു (1930 ല്‍ ജനിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം 2005 ല്‍ മരണപ്പെട്ടു) സ്ഥാപനം നടത്തിയത്.

കൂടി കച്ചവടത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായതോട് കൂടി ടി.മുഹമ്മദ് കുഞ്ഞി ബുക്ക് സെല്ലര്‍ യുനാനി ഹംദര്‍ദ് സ്റ്റോക്കിസ്റ്റ് എന്നായി മാറി.

ആദ്യ കാലങ്ങളില്‍ ഹംദര്‍ദ് നേരിട്ട് ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഡോക്ടറെ അയക്കുകയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

പിന്നീട് കേരളത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ആദ്യമായി
യുനാനി ഡിഗ്രി എടുത്ത ഡോക്ടര്‍ ആയ കെ.ടി അജ്മല്‍ ഇന്നും എല്ലാ വ്യാഴായ്ചയും അവിടെ പരിശോധന നടത്തി വരുന്നു.

കണ്ണൂര്‍ ടൌണ്‍ മാര്‍ക്കറ്റിനടുത്തുള്ള കാമ്പസാറിനെ അന്നത്തെ പരസ്യത്തില്‍ ഖാന്‍ ബസാര്‍ എന്നാണ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി കാണുന്നത്. ആ പേരിന് വല്ല ചരിത്രസത്യവും ഉണ്ടോ എന്നറിയില്ല.

ഇന്നത്തെ മുംബായ് അന്നും അറബി മലയാളത്തില്‍ മുംബായ് എന്ന് കാണുന്നു.

അന്നദ്ദേഹം തുടങ്ങി വെച്ച സ്ഥാപനം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇന്നും അതേ പടി ബെല്ലാര്‍ഡ് റോഡില്‍ കാണാം.

തികഞ്ഞ മത വി്ശ്വാസിയും വാഗ്മിയുമായ അദ്ദേഹം മരണപ്പെട്ടിട്ട് ഇന്നേക്ക് 66 വര്‍ഷമാവുന്നു.
