Moral for children:

Cinderella

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a kind and beautiful young girl named Cinderella. She lived with her wicked stepmother and two jealous stepsisters who treated her like a servant in her own home. Despite their cruelty, Cinderella remained gentle and kind, always hopeful for a better life.

One day, the King announced a grand ball at the palace, inviting all the young maidens in the land, hoping his son, the Prince, would find a bride. Cinderella’s stepsisters excitedly prepared for the ball, but her stepmother cruelly forbade her from attending and made her do endless chores instead.

On the night of the ball, after her stepsisters had left, Cinderella sat alone, feeling very sad. Suddenly, her Fairy Godmother appeared and with a wave of her magic wand, transformed Cinderella’s rags into a stunning gown and her worn-out shoes into glass slippers. She also turned a pumpkin into a magnificent coach, with mice as horses and a rat as the coachman.

“Remember,” the Fairy Godmother warned, “this magic will only last until midnight. You must return before then.”

Cinderella arrived at the ball and was so beautiful that everyone, including her stepsisters, failed to recognize her. The Prince was captivated by her grace and charm, and they danced together all night. As the clock struck midnight, Cinderella remembered her Fairy Godmother’s warning and fled the palace, losing one of her glass slippers on the steps.

The Prince, determined to find the mysterious girl, searched the kingdom for the owner of the glass slipper. He visited every house, and when he arrived at Cinderella’s home, her stepsisters tried to fit into the slipper, but it was too small for them. Finally, Cinderella tried on the slipper, and it fit her perfectly.

The Prince recognized her immediately and asked her to marry him. Cinderella accepted, and they were married in a grand ceremony, living happily ever after. Her stepmother and stepsisters were forgiven, but they had to come to terms with their own jealousy and cruelty.

Moral for children:

**The Two Frogs**

One hot summer day, two frogs were searching for water. Eventually, they came upon a well. Looking into it, they saw that it was full of water.

The first frog said to the other, "Let's jump in and quench our thirst."

The second frog, more cautious, replied, "What if the water dries up? How will we get out? It's better to be safe and look for another source of water."

But the first frog, being thirsty and impatient, jumped into the well. As he drank, he realized that the water was indeed drying up quickly. Desperate to get out, he found the walls of the well too steep and slippery to climb.

The second frog, who had stayed outside, continued his search and found a larger, more reliable pond nearby. He lived safely, while the first frog, unable to escape, faced great difficulty.

Moral for children

The Golden Touch

Once upon a time, there was a king named Midas who loved gold more than anything in the world. He spent his days counting his gold coins and wishing for more. One day, a mysterious stranger appeared and offered to grant King Midas a wish.

Without hesitation, King Midas wished that everything he touched would turn to gold. The stranger granted his wish, and Midas was overjoyed. He touched a chair, and it turned to gold. He touched a table, and it turned to gold. He touched the walls of his palace, and they turned to gold too.

King Midas was delighted with his new power, but soon he realized that his wish had a terrible downside. When he sat down to eat, his food turned to gold and became inedible. When his daughter ran to hug him, she turned to gold as well. King Midas was heartbroken.

Desperate, he begged the stranger to take away his golden touch. The stranger returned and told Midas to wash in a special river. As soon as Midas dipped his hands into the water, the golden touch vanished. Midas was overjoyed to find that his daughter returned to normal, and he learned an important lesson.

Moral for children

In a sunny meadow lived a firefly named Flick. Flick wasn't like the other fireflies. They would all light up their little bodies together at night, creating a magical twinkling blanket across the meadow. But Flick was shy. He was afraid his light wouldn't be bright enough, so he never joined the others.

One night, a big storm rolled in. The wind howled, the rain poured, and the other fireflies' lights flickered and almost went out. Lost and scared, a baby bunny named Hopkin stumbled upon Flick. Hopkin was shivering and cried, "I can't find my mommy! It's too dark!"

Flick, though scared himself, remembered his grandma's words, "Even the smallest light can shine bright in the darkest night." Taking a deep breath, Flick lit up his little body. It wasn't the strongest light, but for Hopkin, it was a beacon of hope.

Following Flick's light, Hopkin found his burrow where his mama bunny was waiting. Hopkin was safe, and Flick, for the first time, felt a warm glow inside, brighter than any light he could have imagined.

The next night, when the other fireflies started lighting up, Flick hesitantly joined them. To his surprise, they cheered! They had all been worried about the storm, and Flick's bravery had inspired them. Together, their meadow shone brighter than ever before.

**Moral:** Even if you think you're small or different, your light can still shine brightly and help others. Don't be afraid to share your light with the world.
