Why do i say controversial?
Because out of the 100 supplements ( though there are much much more) available in the market there are a selected few which actually work and are of some use to us .
One should never buy a supplement just on the basis of how it is marketed, but instead DYOR( DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH) and see what exactly is suited to your needs and what is worth putting your hard earned money in.
Supplements which you can definitely add to your Arsenal for improving your daily performance , specially if you are a fitness enthusiast-
1. WHEY PROTEIN - helps you to complete your daily protein requirement in a very convenient way. WHO recommends around 0.8/kg of protein per day which if you are not able to complete from your diet ,you can add on a supplement ( though your body doesnot differentiate if you complete your nutritional requirements from a supplement or whole food !
