Actor Jasmin Bhasin, popular for her stint in Bigg Boss, recently damaged her corneas due to contact lenses. Both of her eyes have been bandaged and will take 4–5 days to recover.

Contact lens wear comes with a lot of
responsibility.

1. Get proper fitting lens from eye surgeons.

2. Contact lenses should be used only for the duration that the lens is made
for only.

3. Contact lens fluid should be
changed out every day and the case should be cleaned weekly.
If this is not done, the fluid can get particles or infection in it and these can scratch or infect the cornea.

4. Do not use cheap cosmetic contacts available in beauty shops and with makeup artists.
These can cause scratch the cornea.

5. Maintain good hand hygeine.
