Dr. P.N.Mahendra, who pledged his life to serve the poor and underprivileged, established Khairabad Eye Hospital in the year 1943 to provide accessible, affordable and quality eye care services to all. With his dedication, determination, and teamwork of empathetic and enlightened partners, society enhanced its eye care services not only in the country but globally. In the same manner, The Director of Hospital Dr. Manish Mahendra has founded this trust to carry forward the legacy of his grandfather, to serve mankind with utmost dedication and devotion. Khairabad Eye Hospital (KEH) and Mahendra Eye Institute (MEI) is located in the heart of the city of Kanpur at Swaroop Nagar.
The Hospital renders advanced eye care treatments with the latest technology at par with the international standards. It is one of the leading Eye centers of Northern India. The Hospital has imparted Phaco Training to various National and International Trainees mostly from EUROPE, USA, KOREA, CHINA, SOUTH AMERICA, UAE Etc, on its academic front.
To provide affordable eye care to all, the hospital also runs three peripheral satellite centers at Ghatampur, Bilhaur, Auraiya.
