Sadly patient was being managed in a above knee cast for an ACL Tear! Timely referring patient to an Arthroscopy surgeon can get fhe patient back to sports early with less complications!!

A 75yr old patient with CAD and compromised cardiac function who had a h/o 5-6dislocations of THR and had severely deficient abductors. Patient was in severe pain with a neglected dislocated hip. Cemented cup was revised to an uncemented cup with a constrained liner which was the only option left for her.

Each patient is different and implants should be chosen as per the patient’s knee…A surgeon should be open to all implant options to give the patient best possible results. Robots specific to one implant may not let surgeon choose different implants.
