Essay Competition was organised to celebrate National Ayurveda Day at Jaywant Institute of Medical Sciences, Dist - Sangli,Maharashtra. 37 students participated and wrote Essays on different aspects of Ayurved and its importance to the Modern World today.

Competitions like Poster, Rangoli & later sapling distribution were carried out in the campus of JIMS on Saturday, 26/10/2024. The competitions were based on themes like Ayurveda For Wellness, Ayurveda & Woman Health & Ayurveda For Wellness At School. Saplings of Guduchi, Kumari, Tulsi & Ashwagandha were distributed among students to create awareness about the ayurveda herbs as well as to preserve them.

As a part of 9th National Ayurveda Day celebrations, a session was organized on 'Ayurveda For Wellness' On Saturday, 26/10/2024 at Jaywant College of Engineering & Polytechnic, District Sangli. On the occasion of 9th National Ayurveda Day, Health Camp was organized on Friday, 25/10/2024 at Jaywant Ayurvedic Hospital & Research Center, K.M.Gad. On the occasion of 9th National Ayurveda Day, a session on Stress Management through Ayurveda was organized at Jaywant College of Engineering & Polytechnic, District Sangli on Thursday 24/10/2024.. Dr Pallavi Kulkarni, Dr Aishwarya Bhosale, Dr. Shrinidhi Sabnis spoke on the importance of handling stress, involvement of Manas bhava & application of Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapies in managing stress respectively. Dr Varsha Deshpande, Principal JIMS highlighted the various types of stress that students face along with simple methods to tackle those.

On the occasion of 9th National Ayurveda Day, a talk was delivered by Dr. Varsha Deshpande madam, Principal - Jaywant Institute of Medical Sciences to the audience of Tilak High School, Karad. The talk was centred around the basics of Ayurved like the Role of Dinacharya & Rhitucharya in Day to day life. Following Dinacharya & Rhitucharya helps to keep ourself healthy by avoiding bad lifestyle habits.
