A 50-year-old patient from Petlad had been suffering from severe stomach problems for nearly three months. He consulted multiple hospitals in Petlad and Anand, but unfortunately, the prescribed treatments brought no relief and the pain continued to worsen. Following a recommendation from his niece, he sought further care at Shree Krishna Hospital in Karamsad.
At the hospital, Dr. Moiz Vora, a gastroenterologist, conducted a detailed evaluation, including an endoscopy and biopsy. An endoscopy is a procedure in which a doctor examines the inside of the stomach using a lighted tube called an endoscope, which is passed through the mouth into the esophagus and then into the stomach. This procedure is performed by a gastroenterologist, a specialist in diagnosing and managing digestive diseases. Shree Krishna Hospital is a multispecialty hospital where expert doctors from various fields are available under one roof, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.

The reports revealed the presence of stomach cancer (GI cancer). The patient was then promptly referred to the hospital’s cancer centre, where oncologist Dr. Raghunandan took charge of his treatment and successfully performed surgery to remove the tumor from the stomach, with the support of anesthesiologist Dr. Usma Parikh and her team.

The patient expressed deep gratitude for the timely diagnosis and effective treatment provided by Dr. Moiz Vora, Dr. Raghunandan, and Dr. Usma Parikh, acknowledging their expertise and dedicated care.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad, for the excellent care provided to my mother.
She was in critical condition at Khambhat, and although we initially planned to take her to Vadodara, Dr. Chirayu Chokshi advised us to bring her to this hospital. Following his guidance turned out to be the best decision for her treatment.

From the moment we arrived, our experience was extremely positive. The Critical Care Department, administration team, doctors, nurses, and even the security staff were highly supportive, attentive, and professional throughout her stay.

A special thanks to Dr. Jaiman Shah (Nephrologist) and Dr. Abhishek Shah (Chest Physician) for their expert care and dedication. I come from a pharmaceutical background, and I truly appreciate the way they explained the medical condition and treatment plan so clearly. Their ability to communicate complex medical information in a simple and understandable manner—even for a layperson—is remarkable.

With their treatment, my mother gradually recovered from her critical condition and was discharged in a stable and normal state.

Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad Cardiac Centre Performs District’s First and Gujarat’s second S-ICD Implantation procedure to prevent sudden cardiac death.

In a significant advancement for cardiac care in the region, the Bhanubhai Madhubhai Patel Cardiac Centre at Shree Krishna Hospital, Bhaikaka University has successfully performed its first Subcutaneous Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (S-ICD) implantation.

Dr. Kushal Pujara, interventional cardiologist at the centre, said that the device was implanted in a 76-year-old patient who had suffered a major heart attack in the United States three months ago. The patient had severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction due to ischemic cardiomyopathy, along with a significant myocardial scar detected on cardiac MRI, placing him at high risk for life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death.

The S-ICD, developed by Boston Scientific, is an advanced cardiac device designed to prevent sudden cardiac death without placing leads inside the heart or blood vessels. This significantly reduces the risk of complications associated with conventional transvenous implantable cardioverter defibrillators.

Dr. Jitesh Desai, Medical Superintendent Shree Krishna Hospital said that this successful procedure brings advanced cardiac technology closer to patients in central Gujarat and highlights the institution’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art healthcare services.

The procedure was carried out by the hospital’s cardiology team with support from cath lab staff and administration.

The patient is reported to be doing well and expressed satisfaction with the treatment, appreciating the expertise of Dr. Kushal Pujara and the facilities available at the hospital.
