A very challenging yet rewarding case.
This patient, a diabetic for the past 25 years, came to me last November with extremely high blood sugar levels despite being on insulin, along with fluctuating blood pressure. Treatment was started immediately with changes in insulin and oral medications, along with detailed guidance on diet and lifestyle modifications.

She was also advised to regularly self-monitor her blood glucose levels, which played a crucial role in fine-tuning her insulin doses.

After 2½ months of consistent effort, as on today her blood sugar levels are now well controlled and her blood pressure has stabilized. After years of struggle, the patient is finally happy and confident about her health again. Moments like these truly make the journey worthwhile.

This patient, 71 years old visited me 5 years back for the first time. After a few months of treatment he stopped taking medications.
He revisited me last month again with very high sugar levels, with Fasting 459 and Post prandial 710mg/dl with Hba1C 14.5 and High BP as well.
Today after 1 month of treatment, his sugar levels along with BP are back to NORMAL.
This is only possible due to consistent treatment, taking medications on time and lifestyle and diet management.
Congratulations to the patient and family. Wishing him good health.

The Grand Inauguration of the Adult Japanese Vaccination campaign was launched today 8th Jan 2026 at the Office of the District Commissioner, Sribhumi. The Honourable DC set a precedent by volunteering to receive the first vaccine, followed by other officers, staff, and the general public. Vaccination will be administered at the DC office for the next two days, followed by a shift to different areas in the Sribhumi town, with the Civil Hospital venue remaining constant throughout the campaign. In the rural areas, vaccination campaign is being held at each and every village. The vaccine is open to individuals aged 15 to 65 years💉
