Induction Program (30/10/2023)
Induction program for the new batch of 1st BHMS was organized on 30/10/23 at 10am at Smt.Malini Kishore Sanghvi Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Miyagaon, Karjan . 85 students of the fresh batch (2023-24) were present at the college campus with their respective parents in the presence of Mr.Kamlesh Shah, Resident Director, Dr.Mihir Parikh, Campus Director, Dr.Hitesh Purohit, Member, National Homoeopathy Commission, New Delhi, Education Director and Principal, Mr.Ashok Pathak, Hon Director, Administration, Dr.Bharat Panchal, Vice Principal and Dr.Hema Parikh, Head Community activities and Head Department of Repertory.
The program was started with institutional prayer, Lamp Lightning, and garlanding of the portraits of Devi Saraswati, Master Hahnemann, Dr.M.L.Dhawale, Shri Kishore bhai Sanghvi & Dr N.L.Tiwari. Parents & students were welcomed by the team. The Students of the college shared their journey of BHMS in different areas like Academics by Mimiksha Kothari (Intern), Extra Curricular activities by Jigar Ruapreliya (4th BHMS), Hostel and Canteen facilities by Priyal Gami(4th BHMS).
Mr.Kamlesh Shah shared the journey of college and management collaboration and how MLDMHI and Smt.Malini Kishor Sanghavi trust came together and made this phenomenonal campus of Smt. Malini Kishor Sanghavi Hospital and educational complex. Mr.Kamlesh Shah shared his vision of starting a college in a rural area to serve the community in the best possible way.
Dr.Mihir.Parikh shared about the journey of the complex. He vividly described to parents that if you would like to real education and would like to make them Homoeopath .you have chosen right institute. He spoke of the role of Homoeopathy in the community and various steps taken for improving its health. He focused on how “Reaching to the Unreached” became true by serving the community at large. He described in detail 2 international research projects on Cerebral palsy and Malnutrition supported by Lipoid Foundation, Germany.
Dr.Hitesh Purohit, spoke about evolutionary changes made by the organization over the years for the betterment of students along with changes made in the curriculum of BHMS study at the NCH level including information regarding CBDC course, Examinations like NEXT, etc. He shared the ethos & value system of the organization. Dr. Purohit shared how Guru–Shishya Parampara became alive on the campus. He proudly narrated that their 6 students joined their alma mater as faculty after completing the undergraduate & postgraduate courses.
He focused on the importance of discipline and asked for parental support to make their wards become successful homeopaths. He shared about STSH projects, and how it helps to develop research attitudes in young budding students. The Ph.D. center given by the University to the college is helping to conduct various research projects.
The teachers present at the inauguration were introduced to the students and parents.
Subsequently, question-and-answer session was conducted where students and parents actively raised their queries and satisfactory answers were given by the Principal and Campus Director. Parents were happy to receive overwhelming responses from the management for welcoming their wards.
A vote of thanks was delivered by the MOC team. The program ended with the National anthem.
A delicious lunch was organized for the students and their parents.
Master of ceremony was Dr. Shailaja Sheth (Asst. Prof, Dept. of Surgery-MKSHMC) and Dr.Khyati Dodiya (R.M.O.-MKSHMCH)
Later, the parents visited the college and hospital. All of them watched a CD of the inauguration of the college by our erstwhile CM Shri Narendra Modiji 2008 (Now our PM) appreciated our campus in 2008.
This program would not have been completed without the incessant efforts of all teaching, non-teaching, and administrative staff as well as interns and students of Smt. Malini Kishor Sanghvi Homoeopathic Medical College.
