Hi Friends,

Hope you are doing well and keeping safe.

Amidst this corona saga, I have a good news to share.

We have successfully managed a preterm(30 wks) Extremely low birth weight baby weighing around 800 grams with symmetric Growth Retardation got delivered in Vadamalayan hospital Dindigul. On day 1 Baby had Intially Respiratory distress for which it had received surfactant drug . On day 6 baby Respiratory distress settled and feeds started. Baby got discharged after 45 days after gaining 1.8kg in our hospital.Antenatally mother had Preeclampsia and usg suggestive of symmetric growth Retardation

👶குழந்தைகளில் மல்டிசிஸ்டம் அழற்சி நோய்க்குறி (MIS-C) - COVID-19

நோய்த்தொற்றுக்கு 2 முதல் 8 வாரங்களுக்கு இடையில் குழந்தைகளுக்கு COVID-19 இன் சிக்கலாக MIS-C ஏற்படலாம்.

MIS-C இன் அறிகுறிகள்:
காய்ச்சல்
வயிற்று வலி
வாந்தி வயிற்றுப்போக்கு கழுத்து வலி
சொறி
சிவப்பு கண்கள் அல்லது கான்ஜுன்க்டிவிடிஸ் கூடுதல் சோர்வாக உணர்கிறேன்
பசியிழப்பு .

எல்லா குழந்தைகளுக்கும் ஒரே மாதிரியான அறிகுறிகள் இருக்காது என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

அவசரமாக மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்க வேண்டிய அறிகுறிகள்- சுவாசிப்பதில் சிக்கல் மார்பில் வலி அல்லது அழுத்தம் குழப்பம் அல்லது மயக்கமடைதல் அல்லது நீல நிற தோல், உதடுகள் அல்லது கடுமையான வயிற்று வலி.
