Acanthosis nigricans is a skin Acanthosis nigricans is a skin disorder characterized by dark, thick patchy skin having a velvety smooth texture most commonly observed in the skin folds. Even though acanthosis is not a disease, it can be a symptom due to certain underlying causes and preexisting conditions. Most often, people who are dark-skinned, obese, and sweat profusely suffer from this condition. It is commonly seen in the folds of skin, and the most commonly affected areas are as below:

Around Lips
Neck
Armpits
Elbows
Groins
Knees
Knuckles
Practically, the affected persons do not suffer from any discomfort as no itching is involved, but patients are more concerned due to cosmetic reasons.

A migraine is a headache that can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head. It’s often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine attacks can last for hours to days, and the pain can be so severe that it interferes with your daily activities.

Symptoms

Prodrome

One or two days before a migraine, you might notice subtle changes that warn of an upcoming migraine, including:

Constipation
Mood changes, from depression to euphoria
Food cravings
Neck stiffness
Increased urination
Fluid retention
Frequent yawning

For some people, an aura might occur before or during migraines. Auras are reversible symptoms of the nervous system.

Visual phenomena, such as seeing various shapes, bright spots or flashes of light
Vision loss
Pins and needles sensations in an arm or leg
Weakness or numbness in the face or one side of the body
Difficulty speaking

Migraine triggers-

1) Hormonal changes in women.

2) Drinks. -alcohol, especially wine, and too much caffeine, such as coffee.

3) Stress.

4) Sensory stimuli. - Bright or flashing lights can induce migraines, as can loud sounds. Strong smells — such as perfume

5) Sleep changes. -Missing sleep or getting too much sleep can trigger migraines in some people.

6) Weather changes.

7) Medications. -Oral contraceptives and vasodilators, such as nitroglycerin, can aggravate migraines

8)Foods. -processed foods might trigger migraines. So might skipping meals.

SINUSITIS

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the tissues in your sinuses (spaces in your forehead, cheeks and nose usually filled with air). It causes facial pain, a stuffy or runny nose, and sometimes a fever and other symptoms. It’s usually caused by the common cold, but other viruses, bacteria, fungi and allergies can also cause sinusitis.

SYMPTOMATS:

1. Runny nose with thick yellow or green mucus.
2 Stuffy nose.
3. Facial pressure (particularly around your nose, eyes and forehead). This might get worse when you move your head around or bend over
4. Ear pressure or pain.
5. Fever.
6. Bad breath (halitosis) or a bad taste in your mouth.
7. Cough.
8 .Headache.
9. Tiredness.

DENGUE FEVER

Dengue (DENG-gey) fever is a mosquito-borne illness that occurs in tropical and subtropical areas of the world. Mild dengue fever causes a high fever and flu-like symptoms. The severe form of dengue fever, also called dengue hemorrhagic fever, can cause serious bleeding, a sudden drop in blood pressure (shock) and death.

SYMPTOMS-

Headache
Muscle, bone or joint pain
Nausea
Vomiting
Pain behind the eyes
Swollen glands
Rash

Most people recover within a week or so. In some cases, symptoms worsen and can become life-threatening. This is called severe dengue, dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome.

Warning signs of severe dengue fever -

Severe stomach pain
Persistent vomiting
Bleeding from your gums or nose
Blood in your urine, stools or vomit
Bleeding under the skin, which might look like bruising
Difficult or rapid breathing
Fatigue
Irritability or restlessness

KIDNEY STONE

Diet, excess body weight, some medical conditions, and certain supplements and medications are among the many causes of kidney stones. Kidney stones can affect any part of your urinary tract — from your kidneys to your bladder.

Often, stones form when the urine becomes concentrated, allowing minerals to crystallize and stick together.

SYMPTOMS:

1-Severe, sharp pain in the side and back, below the ribs
2-Pain that radiates to the lower abdomen and groin
3-Pain that comes in waves and fluctuates in intensity
4-Pain or burning sensation while urinating

Other signs and symptoms may include:

1-Pink, red or brown urine
2-Cloudy or foul-smelling urine
3-A persistent need to urinate, urinating more often than usual or urinating in small amounts
4-Nausea and vomiting
5-Fever and chills if an infection is present
