What daily foods we take increases ACNE and why..Dark Chocolate - False
Dark chocolate is fine. Milk chocolate (because of sugar + dairy) can trigger acne.
Whey Protein -true
Whey increases insulin + IGF-1 levels → can worsen acne, especially hormonal acne.
Juices - TRUE
High sugar → spikes insulin → can increase breakouts.
Fruits - FALSE (mostly)
Whole fruits don’t cause acne. Only excess high-Gl fruits may worsen it.
Coffee - FALSE
Coffee alone doesn’t cause acne.
But coffee + milk + sugar can.
Milk - TRUE
Skim milk is especially linked to acne due to hormones + whey content.
Sugar - TRUE
High-glycemic foods spike insulin → increases oil production → acne flare.
Curd - FALSE for most
Fermented foods are usually gut-friendly. But if dairy-sensitive, it may trigger.
