लेप्रोस्कोपिक सर्जरी के फायदे :

कम रक्तश्राव (Less Bleeding)
लेप्रोस्कोपिक सर्जरी के समय बहुत कम ब्लीडिंग होती है। दरअसल, ओपन सर्जरी की अपेक्षा इसमें कट का आकार बहुत छोटा होता है।

कम दर्द होना (Less Pain)
कट का साइज छोटा होने की वजह से सर्जरी के बाद होने वाले दर्द का रिस्क कम हो जाता है। अगर हल्का-फुल्का दर्द होता भी है तो वह डॉक्टर द्वारा दी गई दवा के सेवन से चंद मिनट्स में खत्म हो जाता है।

कोई निशान नहीं (No Scars)
जख्म का आकार बहुत छोटा होता है, नतीजन कोई निशान नहीं बनता है।

इन्फेक्शन होने की बहुत कम संभावना(Low Chance of Infection)
घाव छोटा होने की वजह से इन्फेक्शन होने का खतरा बहुत कम होता है, हालांकि यदि रोगी डॉक्टर द्वारा निर्देशित आज्ञा की अवहेलना करता है तो इन्फेक्शन होने के चांसेस होते हैं।

हॉस्पिटल में कम समय तक रुकना (Short Stay in Hospital)

लेप्रोस्कोपिक सर्जरी के बाद रिकवरी बहुत जल्दी होती है, जिससे मरीज को हॉस्पिटल में ज्यादा समय तक रुकने की कोई जरुरत नहीं पड़ती है। सामान्य तौर पर मरीज को उसी दिन या फिर उसके अगले दिन डिस्चार्ज (Discharge) कर दिया जाता है।

रिकवरी का समय तेज होने की वजह से इस सर्जरी के कुछ दिन के बाद ही मरीज अपने दैनिक जीवन को शुरू कर सकता है। जबकि ओपन सर्जरी में रिकवरी बहुत धीमी होती है और मरीज को काफी दर्द का सामना भी करना पड़ता है।
