1. Somatization due to Anxiety

The child is experiencing anxiety (fear of separation, fear of failure, bullying, new environment) and this emotional stress is unconsciously converted into physical symptoms.

The pain is real for the child, even though there is no medical problem.

2. School Avoidance / School Phobia

The child may have developed fear towards school due to a negative experience:

Teacher’s scolding

Fear of academics or exams

Difficulty making friends

Bullying or rejection

3. Separation Anxiety

Child is afraid to separate from parents.

The physical pain appears in the morning because the anxiety peaks during the time of separation.

4. Attention-Seeking Behaviour (Secondary Gain)
